Side loader freshly calibrated at the Branch Bitterfeld
At our site in Bitterfeld, three specialized side loaders are used to ensure the smooth transport of very special customer traffic. Equipped with hydraulic grippers, a mobile scale and a self-sufficient Perkins engine, they can independently load and unload containers weighing up to 33 tons – controlled by our specially trained truck drivers via radio.
In order for the side loader technology to work reliably at all times, the weighing technology of a side loader must be recalibrated every three years in accordance with the German Measurement and Calibration Act. At the end of October 2024, the State Office of Weights and Measures of Saxony-Anhalt visited the site for this purpose.
