Girls'Day 2025 at Richter

At this year's Girls'Day, female pupils were able to experience everyday life at Curt Richter SE.

The logistics industry is still rather male-dominated, which is why we are all the more pleased that more and more women are finding their place in all professional fields. Our team is now also being strengthened by women in many areas – from truck drivers to automotive mechatronics technicians.

That's why Girls' Day is a welcome opportunity for us to show young women in a practical way how diverse and exciting the world of logistics is – and that this is the right place for them.

This year, seven female students were able to get a taste of the day-to-day work of a freight forwarder at our Cologne, Hamburg and Bitterfeld locations – and get involved themselves. Without any role clichés.

Whether as a freight forwarding agent or a motor vehicle mechatronics technician – with us it was all about actively experiencing the world of logistics. The participants took a seat in the driver's cab of trucks and container forklifts, went on a tour with our experienced colleagues, explored a tank container from the inside, tried out simple tasks in the workshop and took a look behind the scenes of our processes.
