Tradition meets modernity
Curt Richter SE is a third-generation family-run company that has stood for reliability and innovation since 1936. Founded in Brachstedt near Halle, the company headquarters soon relocated to the chemical region of Cologne/Leverkusen. There, Curt Richter SE developed into a specialist in tank logistics and opened the first of its five tank cleaning facilities in the 1950s. At the same time, the company focussed on the expansion of intermodal transport and a strong Europe-wide network at an early stage.
The acquisition of Gruber GmbH & Co. KG in 2018 was a significant milestone in the company's development. The full integration of Gruber into Curt Richter SE created synergies, expanded the service portfolio and further strengthened the company's market position in the tank logistics sector.
Today, Curt Richter SE has eleven locations in Germany, Italy, the UK and the Netherlands and, as a founding member of Tank Combination Europe (TANKCEU), shapes European logistics. With the change to an SE in 2008, it became the first German tank logistics company in the legal form of a Europa AG.
